the first batch of two (4 sections) 12-axle freight electric locomotives for the uzbekistan electric locomotive project, manufactured and delivered by china national technical imp & exp corp, a subsidiary of genertec, recently arrived in tashkent, the capital of uzbekistan. these trains were completed 6 months ahead of the delivery date stipulated in the contract.
the high-power electric locomotives delivered this time are fourth-generation locomotives designed and manufactured specifically for uzbekistan's complex climate and terrain conditions. it can meet the urgent demand of passenger railway and freight train services. they will be operational soon.
