china national technical imp & exp corp and power grid company of bangladesh (pgcb) signed a contract for the ashuganj 132kv substation renovation project. this project is the chinese company’s first power transmission and transformation project in the bangladeshi market.
once the project is completed, ashuganj will become the most important power hub of the northern region to provide stable power transmission to the dhaka, capital of the country, and its surrounding areas. it has great strategic significance for the upgrading of bangladesh’s national power grid.
