yu xubo, chairman of china general technology (group) holding co ltd, or genertec, and wang xusheng, vice-president of genertec, attended inaugural ceremony of china-europe business council on april 29.
as one of the representatives of chinese entrepreneurs, yu delivered a speech during the ceremony, and together with officials from the ministry of commerce, business leaders from both china and europe announced the official establishment of the cebc.
in the meantime, yu jianhua, china’s international trade representative (minister's level), and vice-minister of commerce, and chen siqing, chairman of the industrial and commercial bank of china attended the event and addressed the meeting.
the meeting also issued the "proposal on the establishment of a sino-european business alliance". the proposal aims to follow the principles of open cooperation, green inclusiveness, mutual benefit and win-win results to support chinese and european enterprises to strengthen cooperation and exchanges, achieve common development and build an economic and trade cooperation platform, as well as contribute to the development of china-eu economic and trade relations.
